Thrill Ride

Extreme Theme Park Rides that You Must Try at Least Once in a Lifetime

The thrill is what most of us are addicted to, and it can be the sole reason why we visit a theme park after all. But not all rides are equal. One coaster might be more boring than the other. Some track inversions give the most blood-rushing feeling, while the others are just so-so.

GeForceIf you think that you ever rode the scariest coaster, think again. Here you will learn what the real thrill rides are, and where they lay in their slumber, waiting for you to dare to ride them.

Expedition GeForce, Germany

GeForce GermanyTo open the introduction to GeForce, first you must know that the steepness of the first drop is eighty-two degrees. That is almost like a free fall from the edge of a cliff. The highest altitude the coaster can get is fifty-three meters above the ground.

GeForce is located in Holiday Park, Germany. It is a steel coaster on 1.2 km length track. The whole ride will approximately take one minute and forty-five seconds, which is enough to feel the sensation of getting brain concussion. The surrounding view is enjoyable on its own. Trees lay across the land, as far as the eyes can see.

X2 Six Flags Magic Mountain, California

x2 rideX2 is a 4th dimension coaster, where the passengers’ carts can rotate independently from the orientation of the track. You will get the maximum rotation with this method. Also, you will experience getting dragged at high speed from behind, which you cannot get with a regular coaster. And because of the free rotating seat, each time you ride the same vehicle, the experience will be different.

X2’s fun does not stop there. You will literally face pyro-work, as the fire blows closely to the ride. Sound effects and cool tracks will fuel up the thrill once you are strapped on the seat. You definitely need to try this ride if you are on a high-speed ride with multiple rotations.

Stratosphere’s X-scream, Las Vegas

This ride is not a coaster but will be twice as scary as coasters. Placed at 264-meter altitudes, X-scream exploits our primal fear, the fear of falling from a height. The cart is put on a 21-meter track on the edge of Stratosphere. And the movement of the carriage mimics coasters, but the track moves perpendicularly to the building.

To ride X-scream is to experience how it is like to jump with a car from a tall building. You will never regret trying it.
